At The Workery, we are bringing our proven digital training model to the UK to help a new generation of learners change direction and build real skills in essential, human-centered professions. To do that, we need the best in the business. We need an expert who knows what exceptional plumbing looks like.

Your mission? You are the standard. You will evaluate our learners'practical work, grade their technique, and give them the feedback they need to master their craft.

🎯 What You'll Do

Assess & Mark Review theoretical and practical coursework. Evaluate their submissions strictly against established grading rubrics.

Give the Feedback Don't just give a score; give direction. Provide precise, actionable, and encouraging feedback. Tell them what they missed, why it matters, and exactly how to fix it so they can develop their technique.

Uphold the Standard No shortcuts. Verify that absolutely every piece of submitted work aligns with UK occupational standards, technical building regulations, and safety requirements.

Log It Enter scores, annotations, and detailed feedback directly into our online grading interface.

Keep Them Moving Process assigned submissions within the agreed 5-day turnaround time. Ensure their learning journey stays seamless and moving forward.

🕵️ What You Bring

This role is for you if:

• You are a fully certified plumber (NVQ Level 2 minimum) holding the required UK trade qualifications, backed by at least 4 years of real, hands-on industry experience. You know the trade and the tools.

• You know the rulebook. You have a thorough, working understanding of UK plumbing qualification frameworks, building regulations, and safety standards.

• You have flawless English, including absolute mastery of technical trade vocabulary. (A working knowledge of French is a plus for chatting with the Paris team, but your English is what we need).

• You are completely comfortable navigating online interfaces and digital assessment platforms.

• You have a teacher's mindset. You have the empathy and attention to detail required to convey complex technical concepts simply. If you have previous experience as a trainer or assessor, that is a massive advantage.

🌟 The Setup

• Contract: Independent contractor / Freelance agreement.

• Location: 100% remote. Work via a platform available 24/7.

• Workload: Variable, depending on the flow of learner submissions and your own schedule. (SLA: 5 working days to assess an exercise).

• Payment: Monthly (at the beginning of the following month) upon receipt of your invoice. Rate to be discussed
